I experimented with the retired double dip glaze combo on the new clay (a speckled buff) - and came out with this lovely number. It's not something I'll be moving forward with in a series capacity, but she's a beautiful mug with a wonderful handle and deserves to be out there in the world.
 
The handle has a robust feel. The mug holds roughly 12oz of liquid.
